Chris Buck is a well known celebrity portrait photographer. Born in Toronto in 1964, Buck studied photography at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute (1983-1987) where he worked with legendary street photographer Dave Heath. He began his career with assignments for Toronto music publications Nerve and Graffiti before moving to New York in 1990. Over the last decade he has photographed such high-profile individuals as President George W. Bush, Leonard Cohen, Peter Bogdanovich, 50 Cent, Ewan McGregor, Salman Rushdie, Cindy Sherman, Sufjan Stevens.
