In “Being Aboriginal @ Ryerson Part 1” students, faculty and staff shared their experience of being Aboriginal at Ryerson. In Part 2 we will explore the importance of wholistic support frameworks and factors which impact the learning experience of the Aboriginal community here at Ryerson.Through a focus on the work of the Aboriginal Academic Support team at Ryerson Aboriginal Student Services, and the anecdotal experience provided by students who access services on campus, we will explore some of the supports and barriers Aboriginal students navigate in their university experience.
